Zayne with an unreal custom USA graphic from Saginaw Spirit was drafted 9th overall to the Calgary Flames coming off a huge Memorial Cup victory, smashing a few records on his way to the NHL. Parekh led the OHL in scoring amongst defenseman finishing the season with 96 points in 66 regular season games. In the same season he broke the franchise record for most goals and points by a defenseman..and he also graduated high school at 16 years old! Parekh was a huge part in the playoffs this past year scoring 11 points in 13 OHL playoff games and then 5 points in 5 Memorial Cup games..pretty good if you ask me.
This stick features one of the coolest graphics ever, with a sleek USA design on the all new Hyperlite 2. Parekh stands at 6’ but you wouldn’t believe otherwise that his stick stands at 66” which is super tall for even the biggest NHL defenseman. Chara’s stick was 68” for reference. Now, of course there is the possibility that he cuts his sticks but he must like them taller than a standard 64” otherwise he would just order them at that height like most players do. Parekh uses the classic P92 curve but surprisingly does not opt for a max blade even as a defensemen. Though he still opts for a wippy 77 flex especially at that extended height, which is the most normal thing to do for a kid his age.
