What Stick Does Zeev Buium Use?
After being selected 12th overall in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft by the Minnesota Wild, Zeev Buium is currently in the midst of his sophomore season at the University of Denver, notching 24 points in 20 games as an absolute standout on the blue-line. Along with this, Zeev was recently an assistant captain for the USA at the 2025 World Junior Hockey Championship, where the USA secured their second consecutive Gold Medal in Ottawa.
Zeev's stick is a standout, featuring the construction of a Novium Pro, which by the way Warrior crushed. The stick provides excellent feel complimented by the striking red graphics of an LX2 Pro. His curve is also very intriguing; when we looked at it from a top down view it has a lot of resemblance to a W03 (Blade 1). However, when we look at the face, it takes on a shape that appears to be a balanced mix between a P46 Bergeron (Blade 11) and a W88 (Blade 2) which to be fair are similar curves to each other. This stick also features a max blade, a logical choice for a defensemen. We see a lot of defensemen using mid curves like the P88 or P46 so it checks out that he's opted for a blade profile such as this, and even the curve looking from above does not open up quite as much as a typical W03.
